Jennifer Shrader Lawrence is an American actress. Born in 1990, Louisville Kentucky, JLaw has been in many films, including the Hunger Games trilogy, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, the X-men series, Winter's bone, and many more films. She has gotten back to back Oscar nominations for three years. She has won many awards, including a Golden Globe award for Best Actress, an Academy Award nomination for best actress, and many others. Now we know Jennifer as the brave, cunning, and smart Katniss Everdeen, starring in the Hunger Games trilogy.
But Jennifer Lawrence is also known for her humor, even to the point where she trips on her way to the Oscars. She has tripped on two Oscars, stuck out her middle finger, and has had her pants fall off. She is the humorous actress that everyone wants to watch.
Jennifer Lawrence's career at acting wasn't easy! Her parents didn't enjoy Jennifer Lawrence as an actress. Finally persuading her family to send her to an acting camp, her career soon gained popularity after she portrayed Ree Dolly in Winter's Bone. She then starred as the the blue Mystique in X-Men: First Class and still continues to portray her character in the everlasting X-Men series. Then, in 2012, she landed with the part of Katniss Everdeen, the face of the rebellion. Also in 2012, she became the new face of Dior. The following month, she played the widow Tiffany in Silver Linings Playbook, winning a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for Best Actress.
